Tropical Still Life

This is a watercolor sketch that I did from a still life that I have set up for my art students. It started as a quick demonstration piece during my class, and I came back and finished it afterwards. I rarely work with watercolors, but they seemed perfect for this expressive piece—paint dried fast, so I was able to work quickly and playfully.
